If you are wondering how to know God, there is one clear answer

Christ is the only way

Christ himself said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." This means the only way of going to heaven is by having a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Become a Christ Follower

To establish a relationship with Christ is very simple. Confess that you believe that you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins and has risen from the dead. Choose to turn away from sin and follow Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Find a Church to attend

Being able to have association with like minded people in a Church is very important. It helps you to grow as a Christ follower and begin to understand more about your walk with Christ.

Read the Bible daily

In order to understand who God is and how you can grow as a Christ follower, read the Bible every day. I suggest that you start with the book of John in the New Testament.

Find a growth group

All Churches have growth groups that you can join, that enables you to interact with other members of the Church on a more personal level. Find one that meets your needs.

Salvation is a gift

It is important to understand that God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. It is a gift given to us that Christ died so that we could live.
